Animation Direction and Storyboards
I was selected to be a storyboard artist and animation director on my class's mixed-media group film at SVA.
Synopsis: At a birthday dinner for a reluctant porcelain doll, the eccentric Host has the guests engage in a series of games to determine which of them shall be eaten for the decadent 3 course meal.
Animation Direction
This film uses several different animation techniques, adding variety to our colorful cast and presenting unique challenges in production.
I have expertise in volumetric hand-drawn animation and 3D software, so I handled four out of the eight characters in the film: the two digitally hand-drawn main characters, and two 3D side characters.
3D Modeling, Texturing, and Animation
I was the only person in my class with previous 3D knowledge, so I created thorough guides to help the crew paint and animate these characters.
